What Makes a Nautical Miles Charter Different?
Every Nautical Miles charter is designed as a private, luxury experience—not just a ride on the water. From bespoke food and beverage service to discrete, concierge-level hospitality, each detail is managed by a dedicated charter specialist to match your personal preferences.

What Is a Bareboat Yacht Charter?
A bareboat charter allows you to rent the yacht without a captain or crew provided by the owner. You hire your own licensed captain and assume full responsibility for the vessel. Most guests, however, prefer our full-service luxury charters that include a professional crew and concierge support.
What Types of Yachts Are Available?
Our fleet includes motor yachts, flybridge yachts, super yachts, and mega yachts. Each vessel features designer interiors, air-conditioned cabins, luxury furnishings, and premium entertainment systems.
How Long Can I Charter a Yacht For?
Our signature experiences are three-hour charters, but half-day, full-day, multi-day, and overnight charters are available upon request. Extended experiences may include dockside chef dinners or overnight stays at exclusive marinas.
Can I Book Multiple Yachts for a Larger Group?
Yes. We can coordinate multi-yacht events for weddings, large parties, or corporate occasions. Our team handles synchronized boarding, communication, and route coordination for a seamless experience.
Can I Host Private Events While Docked Instead of Sailing?
Absolutely. Many clients prefer to host receptions, fundraisers, or product launches dockside for easier access and a more atmospheric setting. You’ll enjoy the complete luxury of a yacht experience while remaining in port.
Why Is There a 12–13 Guest Limit?
U.S. Coast Guard regulations limit the number of guests on uninspected passenger vessels to 12 or 13 for safety and compliance. For larger gatherings, we can arrange multiple yachts or alternative certified vessels.
Payment And Pricing
What Is Included in the Charter Rate?
The rate includes the yacht rental, captain and crew, docking, fuel, and our standard food and beverage package. Premium upgrades include private chefs, champagne selections, floral design, photography, and live entertainment.

Is a Deposit Required?
Yes. A deposit is required to confirm your date and yacht selection. Terms and conditions are outlined in your Charter Experience Form.
How Much Should I Tip the Crew?
A gratuity of 15–20% of the total charter amount is customary and can be paid in cash, Venmo, or Zelle.
Do You Offer Gift Certificates or Corporate Packages?
Yes. We offer beautifully packaged gift certificates and corporate yacht packages for returning clients and executive teams.
Planning Your Charter
Can I Customize the Itinerary?
Yes. Each charter itinerary is personalized in collaboration with your captain and specialist. Choose scenic waterfront routes, private coves, or sunset anchorages.
How Far in Advance Should I Book?
For weekends or holidays, we recommend booking 2–4 weeks in advance to ensure yacht and crew availability.
Can I Request a Specific Yacht or Crew?
Yes. Returning clients often request their preferred vessel, chef, or crew. We do our best to accommodate returning guests with priority scheduling.
What Should I Bring Onboard?
Your specialist will provide a seasonal checklist, but we suggest sunglasses, sunscreen, a light jacket, swimwear, and any personal essentials.
Can You Arrange Transportation to the Dock?
Yes. We can coordinate luxury car service, limousine transfers, or even helicopter connections at select locations.
Can You Help with Proposals or Special Surprises?
Absolutely. Our team specializes in milestone events and engagements. From custom florals to champagne reveals, we can stage a cinematic experience timed perfectly to sunset.
Onboard Experience
What Amenities Do the Yachts Offer?
All yachts include air conditioning, private restrooms, a Bluetooth sound system, and climate-controlled cabins. Select yachts feature flybridge seating, hot tubs, chef kitchens, or water toys such as jet skis and floating decks.
Is Wi-Fi Available?
Yes. Most yachts include reliable Wi-Fi for light browsing, music streaming, and presentations.
Can I Bring My Own Chef or Caterer?
Most clients prefer our curated private chef partners. Each specializes in fine dining, regional seafood, and wine pairing menus.
Do You Offer Specific Champagne or Wine Brands?
Yes. Our beverage program includes prestige labels such as Veuve Clicquot, Moët & Chandon, Dom Pérignon, and Krug. Custom wine pairings are available for private dinners.
Are Pets Allowed?
Pets are welcome on a case-by-case basis. Please let us know in advance for cleaning and safety arrangements.
Are Children Welcome?

Can I Smoke Onboard?

Safety And Regulations
How Do You Ensure Passenger Safety?
All vessels include Coast Guard–approved life jackets, first-aid kits, fire extinguishers, and communication systems. Captains and crew are certified in emergency response and passenger safety.
Are There Restrictions on Where We Can Travel?
Routes may vary depending on weather, tides, and navigation laws. Your captain will plan the safest and most scenic course possible.
What If the Weather Turns Bad?
If conditions are unsafe, we’ll reschedule or credit your booking in accordance with our cancellation policy. Captains monitor weather conditions in real time to ensure your comfort.

Are Your Yachts Insured and Certified?
Yes. All yachts meet or exceed U.S. Coast Guard safety standards, are fully insured, and undergo regular inspections.
Can Guests Swim During the Charter?
Yes, swimming is allowed when the yacht is anchored in approved areas. Floating mats and swim ladders are provided when available.
After Your Charter
Can I Extend My Trip While Onboard?
Yes, if the yacht and crew are available. Hourly extension rates apply. Your host will coordinate confirmation and billing.
